RHIM PROPHETIC WORD & DAILY DEVOTIONAL PRAYER
Date: Wednesday, 11th November 2020. Topic: THE GOD OF ELEVENTH HOUR [VII] Scripture: Matthew 20:5-6 5 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise. 6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle? BELOVED HEAR THIS The householder went out at the sixth, ninth, and eleventh hour. At the eleventh hour, he went and selected those labourers. Today, I will focus on the word labourer as we look at those labourers that were employed at the eleventh hour. A labourer is a person doing unskilled manual work for wages. Someone engaged in work that requires bodily strength rather than skill or training. A labourer also means a man who is ever willing and ready to pick up any menial and dirty job at any point in time. A man who is always willing to take up any job without any condition or complain. A man that can do anything legitimate to earn a living or an ends meet. When you have the spirit and understanding of a labourer, no matter what is happening around you, you will always be focused, you will always have your mind at the finishing end. Labourers don’t feel too big to do what is considered dirty. Jesus talked about the harvest of souls, souls that need to hear the word of God, He is looking for those who are ready to labour heavily into His kingdom, He is looking for those who will be willing to work for Him at any point in time. [Matthew 9:37] “Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; 38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” He said pray that God sends labourers, God is not looking for executive labourers. He is looking for humble and submissive labourers who can work wholeheartedly in His vineyard. Are you ready to work for God in His vineyard as a labourer?. God is looking for faithful labourers He can hire, labourers that will be on eternal payroll of heaven.
