The aim of Satan is to discourage believers by making them lose their faith in God. In yesterday’s devotional, it was said that you must study the word of God whenever fear want to take over your life. When a believer stops, and turns away from God,

[1 John 4:18] Fear is an unpleasant emotional situation caused by the threat of danger, pain, or harm.

When fear sets in, such a person will begin to have or experience fear of the unknown. [2 Corinthians 5:7] For we walk by faith, not by sight.

You can increase your faith by hearing God’s Word and believing what He says, not what the devil is saying to you. [Romans 10:17]
The devil has nothing to offer you than to steal your joy, create fear in you that can even result to death in some cases.
[John 10:10] The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

If as a believer, you lack the word of God or you don’t have the Word of God dwelling richly in you, the devil can come at any moment, and bring fear in your life and you won’t be able to overcome it.

Fear is anything false but appearing to be real. Fear is a spirit which can torment anybody and anyone who subject him or herself to fear will be tormented, [1 John 4:18] To overcome fear, you need to step out in faith. When fear is knocking at your door, release your faith and the fear in you will die.
