Topic: FORGIVE THOSE WHO OFFEND YOU
Scripture: Matthew 6 :14-15
14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
BELOVED HEAR THIS
One of the reasons prayers are not answered on time is unforgiveness. We endanger ourselves the more if we don’t forgive. If you are holding anybody down in your heart, you are equally holding yourself down, if you don’t free the person, you can’t be free either.
Ensure your mind is free whenever you pray, don’t hold grudges against anyone. Our Bible reference for today says, if you don’t forgive those who hurt you, our heavenly Father too will not forgive you. You can’t come to the place of prayer when you are carrying loads of unforgiveness in your heart.
Don’t bother to even pray if you know you are holding people down in your heart because it will end up as exercise in futility.
I do tell my children, I forgive in advance, even before you offend me, I have forgiven you and that has been working for me.
If our Lord Jesus can forgive our sins, I don’t see any reason you can’t forgive your fellow man. Isaiah 1:18, Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
You might still be under demonic limitations or chains because there is somebody you have refused or made up your mind not to forgive. The devil can be using that to block so many great things that ought to come to you. Unforgiveness is a spirit from the pit of hell, don’t fall victim of that so that your blessings and miracles will not be delayed.
If there is anyone you are still holding in mind, as you read this devotional, please go and settle with the person and forgive the person, tomorrow might be too late. “I pray it won’t be too late for you and I in Jesus Name”
