RHIM Daily Devotional 2 July 2021 – Divine Possibilities [II]

The God we serve is a God of all possibilities. With God all things are possible. There is the power of God that is always made available whenever you find yourself in an impossible situation. He is the God of impossibility specialist, He specializes in making the impossible possible as long as your faith is in place. God is looking for faith, and real faith has to do with the impossible.

God is always happy when we pray for the impossible, when we believe Him for things that are beyond our abilities and capabilities. He is looking for those with faith who will still hold on to Him in prayer even when the going seems totally impossible. He is the God of all possibilities.

When Peter had already concluded in his mind that it was impossible for him to catch any fish that day, the impossibility specialist stepped in and told him, with Him (Jesus) it shall be possible. And Jesus told him to launch his net into the deep.

It became possible for Peter because;

1: He believed the Word of God.

2: He had faith.

3: He was not discouraged because he toiled.

4: He did not linger when Jesus told him to launch his net.

5: He obeyed the instruction given to him.
Luke 5: 4-6  4. Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. 5. And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. 6. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

Several times, God must have stepped into your situation to make the impossible possible but if you are not ready to act on His word, it will remain impossible but when you are ready to cooperate with Him and believe Him, everything will be possible.
