Topic: FINISHING STRONG [VII]
Scripture: Romans 12:1-2
1. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
BELOVED HEAR THIS
REASONS SOME WILL NOT FINISH WELL AND STRONG.
1. The love of the world and lust of the world. [1John 2:15-16]
When you love the world more than you love God, you will not finish well.
The Bible admonishes us not to love the world neither the things that are in the world. If you love material things more than you love God and His word, you can’t finish well. If you love adultery, fornication, stealing, lying, you can’t finish well.
[1Timothy 6:10] For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
You can’t finish well and strong if you love money too much. You can’t concentrate on the things of God if you love money too much, because your spirit, soul and body will always be filled with the thought of money. Let God be your first priority and not the things of this world.
2. Evil Association [1Corinthians 15:33-34]
33. Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. 34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
There is a saying that says, “show me your friend and I will tell you who you are.”
Beloved, if you want to finish well and strong, please choose your friends wisely. I do say to my children that friendship is not by force, it is by CHOICE , you can choose who you want to be your friend if at all you need. Who you associate with determines what happens around you, who you follow determines what follows you.
Some friends are just there to pull you back so that you can be on the same spot with them, there are some other friends that can help you grow spiritually and help you to run this race without looking back and that is why you need to choose wisely the kind of company or association you keep.

I pray for you, may you not lead others to finish the race well and strong and you will not be able to finish well, you shall finish well too in Jesus name.You will not lead others to enter into the promise land and you will not enter, you won’t be like Moses that led people to enter the promise land but he did not enter in Jesus Mighty Name.AMEN!
