RHIM PROPHETIC WORD & DAILY DEVOTIONAL PRAYER
Date: Friday, 4th September 2020
Topic: THE POWER OF POSITIVE CONFESSION
Scripture: Proverbs 18:20-21
20 A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.
21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
BELOVED HEAR THIS
Death and life are in the power of the tongue. Every man can produce fruits from his mouth. Productivity can come from your mouth, you can produce your desired result from what you say on a daily basis.
Whatever we say has power over our lives.
A man’s productivity is tied to his confession. When you speak negative things, you will see things happening around you by the virtue of the negative things you speak. “It is very important we control our world by our spoken word of our mouth.” If you confess you are broke, in no time you will be broke. Everything you say has the power to reproduce over you.
God gave a standing instruction to Abraham, God told him to kill his son Isaac as a sacrifice and Abraham obeyed. Abraham was to travel for three days to offer the burnt offering unto God. When he was to climb the mountain, he told the two servants that followed him to abide with the ass; while he and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to them…[Genesis 22:5-8]
When they were to climb the mountain, Isaac asked his father where was the Lamb?. Unknown to him (Isaac), he was the Lamb his father Abraham wanted to use as the sacrifice, but Abraham did something that led to the miraculous provision of the ram he used that day;
“He prophesied that the Lord himself will provide.”
If he had told his son Isaac that he would use him for the sacrifice, Isaac would have probably left his father there. Abraham took the situation into the heavenly realm, he spoke God into the situation and allowed God to speak through his mouth by prophesying that the Lord will provide.
Abraham’s positive confession came to pass in verse 13, he saw the ram and took the ram to offer instead of his son. If he had not prophesied, he won’t have gotten that ram. He spoke God into his situation. We must learn to confess the word of God over our affairs.
