RHIM PROPHETIC WORD & DAILY DEVOTIONAL PRAYER
In yesterday’s devotional, we looked at some of the works of Holy Spirit such as how He helps us to remember the word of God concerning us and how we receive the fruits of the Spirit with the help of the Holy Spirit.
We will continue from where we stopped yesterday.
▪️ The Holy Spirit gives new life to a believer.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
We all have sinned, we were dead towards God before the Holy Spirit gave us a new life in Christ. Jesus said, No one can see the Kingdom of God unless he is born again.
John 3:3. You must be born again to see God’s kingdom and it is with the help of the Holy Spirit we receive a new life in Christ. He does the work of making you born again, no man can make a fellow man born again except with the help of the Holy Spirit, it is a supernatural encounter. Jesus comes into your heart through the Holy Spirit and make you a new person with a new life in Christ.
Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.
We are saved by the mercy and grace of God.
▪️ We serve Christ with the power of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
No man can serve God and receive power from Him without the Holy Spirit. You cannot successfully do the work of a ministry without the power of the Holy Spirit.
▪️ Your body becomes the temple of God by the Holy Spirit. You are God’s temple and His Spirit lives in you.
1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
