BELOVED HEAR THIS
Everyone loves to gain favour and enjoy favour throughout the journey of life, but not all who gained favour knows how to keep and maintain the favour.
I started this series on how to maintain favour three days ago, especially in this second half of the year, it is very crucial and important for you to hold on to what you have, don’t let go of the favour and opportunity God has given unto you.
Today, we shall continue from where we stopped yesterday and if you have not been following us, please try and get all the series it will be of great value for you.
HOW TO SUSTAIN YOUR FAVOUR IN THIS SECOND HALF
6. Live a life of Forgiveness: If you must maintain God’s favour upon your life, you must forgive people, no matter what they have done. God does not like people who don’t let go of those who offended them.
We may find it difficult to forgive those who wronged us at times, but those who forgive usually find peace, rest of mind, love and freedom. It means that, when you forgive, you will also set yourself free from bondage and any form of captivity placed upon yourself.
I do say to my children and everyone close to me that, “I forgive in advance” in order words, even before you offended me, I have already forgiven you, that is the wisdom behind forgiving others. I have told them to always apply that same principle as well if they want to go far in life. We have to learn how to forgive others because we all are sinners. [Matthew 6:14-15]
7. You Must be Joyful: Isaiah 12:3
You can’t be joyful and not enjoy continuous favour from both God and man. If you complain all the time, nobody will listen to you again and nobody will be interested to render any help or favour to you, because you will become a burden to them.
8. Live a Life of Constant Gratitude: When you thank God for the little you have, He will multiply it for you. I do tell my children to be thankful always, no matter what comes their ways, no matter how little the thing may be, they should always thank God, by so doing they are challenging or provoking God to do more.
9. Obedience to the Word of God: Isaiah 1:19 For you to continuously or constantly enjoy favour, you must obey every instruction given to you from God and those who God has set or placed above you.
As you do so, you will constantly enjoy divine favour in Jesus Name.
