RHIM Daily Devotional 7 July 2021 – Hindrances To Divine Possibilities [I]

Divine possibilities are visible manifestation of an invisible God. He is an invisible God who does things visible for all to see. We can’t see Him but we see what He does and how He can orchestrate things divinely.

God can do for you anything you desire from Him as long as you don’t doubt His word, God honours His word more than His Name.

From our text today, Zachariah doubted the word of God and as a result of that, he faced the consequences for some period of time.

Luke 1:20 And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believes not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season.

The angel of the Lord told him he won’t be able to speak until those things he told him were performed because he did not believe God’s word.

Doubt opens door for impossibilities. Doubt is the opposite of faith. Faith is key to divine possibilities while doubt is key and entrance to impossibility.. I do say that, If there is anything you need to doubt, doubt your doubt, don’t doubt God, don’t doubt His Word and don’t doubt the prophet of God. A lot have shut their doors to divine possibilities. The case of Zechariah was an exception because of the mercy of God and also there was a need for forerunner for Jesus’ ministry. That was why God still performed the miracle with Zechariah’s family.

Doubt is a major hindrance to Divine Possibilities. Never you doubt the word of God and don’t give up or give in to an undesirable fate. Always expect a miracle, believe God that it is possible, believe what He told you in that situation you find yourself or where you are, facing what ever you are facing right now because your present situation is not your final destination. Faith in God must override your present circumstance.
