RHIM Daily Devotional 8 June 2021 – The Holy Spirit Helps Us To Pray

To be helped is to be assisted. It means to make it easier or possible for someone to do something by offering one’s services. The Holy Spirit assist us in praying.

In the school of prayer, it cannot be said that you have a successful prayer lifestyle except with the help of the Holy Spirit. Without the assistance of the Holy Ghost, you cannot pray through and breakthrough in life and ministry. The Holy Ghost helps us to breakthrough in ministry. For you not to be misplaced in life and ministry, it is essential you rely on the Holy Spirit. If we must be fruitful in the ministry of prayer, we need the help or the assistance of the Holy Spirit.

From the Bible reference for today, we learnt that nobody actually knows how to pray, except by the help of the Holy Spirit. We all will pray amiss if the Holy Spirit is not there to help us.

At times, you get weak when it comes to prayer, but with the help of the Holy Spirit, you receive strength and your inner man will be charged to pray. We often don’t really know what to pray for in any given situation or how to pray and come out of the situation, at times we even get confused about the situation.

There are times you get confused on what to pray about, the content of your prayers may not make meaning to you at times.

The Spirit helps us when we are groaning, when we are struggling to know how to pray, He helps us by interceding for us with wordless groaning.

The Spirit is always searching our hearts even if we do not know exactly what we are supposed to pray, He knows what we are to pray for and how we are to pray because He knows what is going on in our hearts every second.

The most essential and paramount thing is that our requests are made according to the will of God, because the Holy Spirit is the one guiding and helping us to pray and is presenting the prayers that He is guiding us to pray to the Father. The Father in turn will answer us accordingly.

Allow the Holy Spirit to always lead you whenever you want to pray. A lot of people have complained that their prayers have not been answered, it is simply because they have been praying amiss, they have not been praying in line with God’s will.
