THE MESSAGE
You can’t be declared a winner except there is a contest, you can only be declared a winner where there is a battle or a competition and having satisfied the rules and regulations of the game, you can then be declared a winner. Every Christian should understand that we are in a battle, you need to be very careful and very conscious. You need to understand that you are in the midst of battle. Everywhere you find yourself, you must know there is a purpose, there is a course to accomplish here on earth and failure to finish our course will make some people to cry even if they made it to heaven.
It takes kingdom minded to pursue kingdom assignment you must be able to understand this, because this will baptize you with boldness to be able to preach to those God has placed around you. Nothing must interrupt your assignment with God.
If you are not kingdom minded, you can’t take risk for the kingdom, only those who are kingdom minded can take risk for the kingdom
If you are truly connected to God, you shouldn’t be afraid of death, if you are truly running with a pure heart, you shouldn’t be afraid of anything. You must take leverage on the grace of God to finish well.
If you must finish well and strong, you need a strong conviction so that you won’t be tossed up and down.
Only those who have strong conviction will finish well.
You need fresh baptism of strength to run this race. I pray for you, receive strength in Jesus Name.
How do you manage discouragement in finishing well and strong? Part 5a
1: Philippians 3:13-14, you must understand that you must keep running and don’t take the line for granted, don’t take the grace for granted, *it takes someone who has his eyes fixed on the finishing line that will end well*, Paul was persuaded, if you are not persuaded a lot of things can happen to you that will shift your focus.
2: Those who will finish well must always rely on God 2 Samuel 2:9, by strength shall no man prevail, Paul relied on God.
3: Be willing to endure hardship.
4: You must discourage your discouragement.
5: It takes conviction to stand in the midst of trial
Mark 13:13, you must know how to endure persecution and handle hatred. It is he that endures to the end that will be saved, do not give up and do not forget where you are coming from, you are saved to serve and God saved you for a purpose, ensure you burn the bridge behind you.
6: Live a life of sacrifice, be willing to sacrifice, *if you can’t give all, you can’t enjoy all from God, be willing to live a sacrificial life, it’s very important. Jesus live his life as a sacrifice for men. A life of sacrifice helps you to finish well and strong, 1peter 4:1
7: Get rid of sin for you to finish well.
8: You must love, love is compulsory, even if you are not loved, still show love, Christ loves, so we His children should also love. Nothing must affect your love if you must finish well and strong. You can’t claim you love God if you can’t love those around you. You must love everybody, but relationship is by choice. Love is a command, it is a proof that God exist between us. Grace to love, receive in Jesus Name. Job 42:10, Job had cause to be angry with his friends but instead, he chooses to love them and still prayed for them.
9: Always check your company, those in your circle of influence, if you must finish well, you must choose wisely your friends. Proverbs 13:20, 1 Corinthians 15:33, 1 Corinthians 15:10
The Supernatural ability is deposited in the life of a man and such a man represents the spirit of God that helps you to do things beyond your imagination. Not everyone in church that is going to heaven and you need to check the desires of that person and the statements such a person or persons usually make.
There is a joy that comes with accomplishments, if your work pleases God, you will know. You will be happy when you accomplish your assignment
Please remember that as God is raising you, his raising you doesn’t stop others from being raised as well
10: ensure you are happy always, always joyous never allow anything to tamper with your Joy, guide your Joy in the Holy Ghost, never allow anyone to determine your Joy be the determinant.
You can’t be bitter and be better at the same time
11: be watchful if you must finish well, be always sensitive, *may God grant us understanding in Jesus Name. 1 Peter 5:10, the devil will not find you, he will not find me in Jesus Name.
12: Be humble. Be steadfast, be unmovable in the work of God, always make yourself available. 1 Corinthians 15. Paul was steadfast, you can’t finish well if you are not steadfast. *Receive grace to be steadfast in Jesus Name.
13: Embrace the Holy Spirit, your solid connection with the Holy Spirit helps you to finish well. We cannot really finish well without the backing of the Holy Spirit, we need the help of the Holy Spirit at every point of our lives. The Holy Spirit helps us to know the step to take, Acts 1:8, the Holy Spirit is our strength.
Pray this and say, Holy Spirit I need you.
