THE MESSAGE
There is blessing packaged in EVERY adversity. 1 Corinthians 10:11-13
Inside that turbulence situation, God will make a way of escape, in that same situation God will make a way for you and your family in Jesus Name.
How to Cope with Challenges
Situations of life at times are only trying to find out who we are, only trying to ask a question, i.e, who are you, what are you made of?
You must seek, there is something that God has packaged on your inside, you need to consult your inner man, as you consult God also consult your inner man too so you can discover what is on your inside.
2 Corinthians 4:1-18
Everything is for your benefit, Paul a servant of the living God, says, your perspective matters in what you are going through.
Everything we are doing is a way of presenting the gospel of Christ and if our gospel is hidden it is only hidden to those who are lost because the gods of this world has blindfolded their eyes
People will come to understand that there is a power that is within us amidst the trials we are going through or the lock-down, but we are not submitting ourselves to any demonic ideology.
In everything we are going through we have this same spirit of faith by the spirit of faith in God, revelation and provision has been made for us
1: In adversity one of the ways to negotiate our way out is to understand the spirit of faith and speaking the word of faith: We can refuse situation happening around us that should make us give up easily, because there is a spirit of faith that has shown us the end from the beginning, you must see the mind of God.
“What you see can affect your behavior and what you hear can equally affect your behaviour” – Apostle Salako #QuoteMeRight
What you see when you are going through challenges matters, your perspective about the situation matters, is possible that the situation can get you fainted but you will refuse it with the spirit of faith by confronting your situation and speaking God into it. Though our outward man perish but our inner man gain renewal everyday.
2: Thanksgiving:
“How you define your adversity determines how faster you will come out of it” – Apostle Salako #QuoteMeRight
Adversity is a university for the champions, the champions who knows he will be great in life will not be afraid of challenges, problems are to bring out the best in us. There is the power of the spoken word that can reverse the irreversible
Thanksgiving is key to turn adversity into an advantage. John 6:8-11. Jesus gave thanks and there was a multiplication, you can turn adversity into advantage with your Thanksgiving.
3: You must DEFINE the Situation: Paul defined it as light affliction, he called it insignificant.
“How you described what is confronting you determine how faster you will come out of it” – Apostle Salako #QuoteMeRight
4: Expiry Date: Understand that the problem has an expiry date: He also described it as momentarily, you must have that understanding that every problem has an expiry date.
5: Working for our Good: He worketh for us far more exceedingly and eternal weight of glory. Have this perspective that this thing is light, is for a moment and at the same time is working for us. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
“Tough time may last long but tough men last longer” – Apostle Salako #QuoteMeRight
Only those who have this understanding will not cry in adversity. Never you present your problems bigger than God but tell your problems how big your God is. Is a light affliction and is for a moment, is working for your glory. Things we see are temporary, but things we don’t see are eternal.
“Don’t fix your eyes on the challenge but put it on God because in no time He will submerge the problem.” – Apostle Salako #QuoteMeRight“Even in problems there are still promises of God” – Apostle Salako #QuoteMeRight
6: Accept the Reality on Ground: Accept the happenings around you and begin to seek God for divine intervention. If Paul didn’t accept it he wouldn’t have overcome it. Challenges at times are realities of life, be open minded to accept challenges when they come and don’t allow anything to spoil your joy.
7: Don’t Blame Others for your Problems: Many people have the habit of blaming others in their adversity and they will be crippled in that situation because the way out will be blocked and such a person will not be able to take responsibility for his actions and decisions to come out.
“people who cast blame ends up in frustration.” – Apostle Salako #QuoteMeRight
You need to understand that challenges are common, don’t cast blame
8: Don’t Elaborate it:
“Those who are bitter are blind to God’s promises” – Apostle Salako #QuoteMeRight.
At times challenges are telling you to come out of your comfort zone, train your mind to accept the change so that you can come out faster.
9: Discourage your Discouragement: you need to confront your situation
Abraham hope against hope, he discouraged the discouragement and God’s promises were fulfilled in his life.
“Men who are discouraged cannot speak faith but fear” – Apostle Salako #QuoteMeRight“It takes a courageous man to speak faith even in the midst of adversity” – Apostle Salako #QuoteMeRight
10: In Every Adversity there is an Advantage, There is Opportunity: an opportunity, the only reason you are not seeing it, is because you are bitter and when you are bitter you will be blinded to opportunities.
#ClosingCharge
In this period, seek for God, ask God to open your eyes.
No situation that is beyond redemption. Opportunity is a catalyst that catapult a man from being ordinary to an extra ordinary, Esther was a good example, God turned her life around in that adversity, brought a dramatical turnaround for her and her people.
Joseph is another man, the imprisonment of Joseph was a blessing in disguise. Joseph interpreted their dreams and the opportunity that was inside was revealed through the gift on his inside, there is a treasure on your inside.
“Opportunity you failed to seize you will cry over it later” – #QuoteMeRight
The giant on your inside will come alive for manifestation in Jesus Name.
