BELOVED HEAR THIS
1: One of the characteristics of a disciple is Total Submission. The true mark of your discipleship is embedded in your total submission.
2: Another characteristics of a disciple is the presence of the Fruits of the Spirit. You can’t be a successful disciple without the fruits of the spirit. [Galatians 5:22-23] If you lost the Fruits of the Spirit, it will affect you as a disciple.
3: A disciple is a Committed and Active Follower of Jesus. There are some realms you can’t get to except you are committed as a disciple to your assignment.
4: A Compassionate Follower: When you are not compassionate about your following, in no time, you will back off as a result of things that may happen around you but when you are compassionate nothing discourages you.
PASSION is key for you to be a solid follower of Jesus.
Peter and Judas were selected by JESUS. Peter’s loyalty and compassion was displayed by his willingness to defend Christ when he cut off the ear of the servant of the high priest.
[John 18:10] Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest’s servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.
Your royalty is predicated on your loyalty to the assignment of your leader. Loyalty brings about Royalty. From the case of Peter and Judas, we discovered that Peter shows loyalty and Judas was disloyal, Peter was compassionate but Judas was not, Judas ended up hanging himself.
Even though Peter also erred, his error was predicated by Jesus, he erred but he came with a heart of repentance to Jesus.
[Luke 22:61-62] And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. 62, Peter went out, and wept bitterly.
To remain a disciple, you must be willing to purge yourself. Constant purging is key if you must remain a vessel unto honour. “How much you are willing to let go determines how heaven will embrace you.”
“You must lose your value for carnal things to gain eternal life.”
“Don’t allow money to own and control you, you should own and control money.”
#QuoteMeRight “If you are not ready to loose the things in the world, you can’t gain the kingdom of God”
