Topic: WHY DO YOU NEED FAVOUR? [II]
Scripture: Daniel 1 :8-9
8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the kings meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
9 Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.
BELOVED HEAR THIS
Any man devoid of God’s favour cannot go far in the journey of life. If there is a call of God upon your life and you don’t attract favour, you need to pray to God to break that yoke or mark of disfavour that is working against you, if the yoke is not destroyed, the doors that ought to be opened unto you will remain closed and that can lead to stagnation.
If in your organization or in your marriage you lack favour, it can lead to frustration. Favour brings comfort and rest of mind, it makes you do things at ease.
I am a product of God’s Unmerited Favour both in my marriage and in my ministry, several people have asked me time without number, that how am I always making it and getting things done with ease, I do tell them that it is just the favour and mercy of God that I enjoy.
Favour of God will make you go far in life and ministry, it will take you to places beyond human comprehension, beyond your imagination and your intellectual capability.
Let the favour you are expecting from God be with a purpose, Hannah en-route her request according to purpose, she said, Lord if you can give me a male Child, I will give it back to you. [1Samuel 1:11]
When we pray and ask according to God’s will and purpose, He will hear us. [1John 5:14]
If you noticed your prayer is being delayed, pray and ask God if you are praying according to His will and if you are obeying His instructions.
Noah obeyed God, he prayed according to God’s will and purpose and he found favour, favour selected him in the midst of judgement, his favour was for a purpose.
Joseph was faced with difficulties, but anywhere he went, the favour of God was always upon him because he was walking in purpose.
A man that walks in God’s purpose and will, can never lack favour, God’s favour will make you an ANSWER to your generation and not a question.
