Topic: SUPERIOR WISDOM TO SURVIVE IN ADVERSITY [III]
Scripture: Genesis 40:15-16
15. For indeed I was stolen away out of the land of the Hebrews: and here also have I done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon.
16. When the chief baker saw that the interpretation was good, he said unto Joseph, I also was in my dream, and, behold, I had three white baskets on my head:
BELOVED HEAR THIS
It does not matter the beauty of your vision, you must be ready to work on it, if not it will remain a nightmare.
It does not matter how big your dream is, you will still suffer attacks, the glorious dream God has packaged on our inside can attract opposition and attacks from the enemies. Joseph was thrown into the pit, he faced opposition and adversaries because of his dream. A man with a glorious future must face attack in one way or the other, but that doesn’t mean God will leave you alone.
Your connection with God is vital in winning in life, even in the house of Potiphar God was with Joseph.
Character can take you to places and keep you there, he has good character and integrity. Joseph displayed character and integrity. Character is who you are when no one is watching, he understands a momentary pleasure that can not make him fulfill his glorious destiny but rather abort his destiny.
Wisdom is better than strength, Samson displayed strength but Joseph displayed wisdom. If righteousness put you in trouble, the same righteousness will bring you out. It was righteousness that led to Joseph’s imprisonment and his righteous life still brought him out of the prison and that is why his imprisonment of was a blessing in disguise.
